Philippines– The Taguig City government is set to launch a 24-hour mega vaccination site that will cater exclusively to government and economic frontliners in the A4 category.

In a statement, the city government said the vaccination site will be located at the High Street Vaccination Hub in Barangay Fort Bonifacio.

The vaccination hub will be open until 12 a.m. this week until the city reaches its goal of opening it up 24/7.

The vaccination site is part of the effort to extend vaccination hours to accommodate those who cannot get vaccinated due to the nature of their work, the city government explained.

“Vaccination should be fast, safe and accessible. Those three things are important to us when we strategize our rollout plan. I encourage all our citizens to sign up and register so that by November, with supply from the national government, we will be able to finish vaccination in Taguig and open up to the rest of NCR,” Mayor Lino Cayetano said.

As of Saturday, the city has vaccinated a total of 238,853 individuals. — DVM, GMA News
