Marcos expressed gratitude for their continued trust and confidence in him.
He hopes that with the help of people who backed his presidential bid, Filipinos will heed his call for unity.
“Tayo ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa walang sawa niyong pagmamahal, mula noon hanggang ngayon (We are extremely grateful for your unending support from the very beginning until now),” Marcos posted.
“Nawa’y patuloy kayong maging daan upang maikalat ang mensahe natin ng pagkakaisa at pagmamahal sa bayan para sa tuluy-tuloy nating pagbangon (May you serve as bridge to spread our message of unity for our recovery),” he added.
He acknowledged their vital roles in helping him achieve his goals of bringing progress to the country and giving Filipinos a comfortable life.
He also stressed the need to forget about political colors, saying it is more important to focus on addressing the pressing issues confronting the country.
“Wala akong kaduda-duda. There is no doubt that you have been able to prove to me and to our countrymen that you love the country and you want to help our fellow Filipinos and the government for the betterment of the country),” he said in his speech.
Now, we are fighting not for a particular political candidate or a political party, but for the entire Philippines amid the challenges we are facing),” Marcos added.
