TOKYO Olympics veteran Carlos Edriel Yulo bagged two more medals — a silver and a bronze — on the final day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series Second Leg held at the Aspire Dome in Doha, Qatar.

Yulo sealed his last-day performance with a silver finish in the parallel bars and a bronze medal in the vault event.

He emphasized a brilliant stuck double front half-out dismount to score a 14.933, just 0.33 behind Illia Kovtun of Ukraine, who claimed the gold in parallel bars.

Ferhat Arican of Turkey landed in third place with 14.733 points.

Earlier, Yulo bagged the bronze in the vault event highlighted by a handspring front double pike or Blanik.

But the 23-year-old Filipino under-rotated slightly his Kasamatsu double twist where he took a step back after landing to finish with a 14.83 3-point showing.

Davtyan Artur of Armenia bagged the gold with 15.083, followed by Radivilov Igor of Ukraine at second who had 14.899.

On Friday, Yulo bounced back from his previous misfortune in the first leg last month in Germany by sealing the gold in his favorite event — the floor exercise.

The 2022 Southeast Asian Games quintuple gold winner wowed the crowd with his two-and-a-half twist to front double pike, a triple full-side pass, a one-and-a-half twist to Randi, and a three-and-a-half twist to close, for 14.833 points.

He bested Japan’s Minami Kazuki who scored 14.200 and Great Britain’s Luke Whitehouse with 13.966.`

Yulo’s stellar performance made up for his 20th place finish during the first leg of the World Cup Series in Cottbus, Germany in February.

On that leg, he finished by scoring 13.400 in the floor exercise.

He snagged the bronze in the parallel bars with a 15.166 points showing. Kovtun topped the event with 15.366, followed by Italy’s Matteo Levantesi with 15.266.

The World Cup Series will be held next in Baku, Azerbaijan from March 9 to 12, before it heads to Cairo, Egypt from April 27 to 30.
