The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Monday and will bring rain showers over several areas, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
The Bicol Region, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon. Flooding or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Luzon, and slight to moderate in Visayas and Mindanao.
