In her Facebook page Tuesday, Duterte said that Turkey is offering scholarship privileges to Filipino students. It also offered to help in the Mindanao peace process through the Independent Decommissioning Body.
She also shared her sympathy to the victims of the terrorist attack in Ankara last October 1, while Akyol thanked the Filipino people who offered prayers to those affected in the violence.
“Our unity is proof of both countries’ concern and friendship that won’t be destroyed by challenges and trials,” Duterte said.
She vowed to continue to forge stronger relations between the Philippines and Turkey.
