Manila, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte yesterday met with ambassadors from Laos and Czech Republic to discuss ties between the Philippines and their respective countries.
During her meeting with Lao Ambassador Sonexay Vannaxay, Duterte said they committed to strengthen the diplomatic relations between the two countries as members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Duterte said Vannaxay identified education and healthcare as among Laos’ areas of interest in the Philippines.
The Vice President said her meeting with Czech Republic Ambassador Jana Šedivá focused on the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the Philippines and Czech Republic.
