With over 70 homegrown businesses already confirmed, The Bazaar’s “House of Local” is set to bring together some of the country’s most exciting Filipino brands and shoppers for a celebration of fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, and home.
The Bazaar is set to bring together more than 70 emerging and established local brands for House of Local, a special two-day event celebrating Filipino creativity, entrepreneurship, and homegrown businesses on Aug. 22 to 23, 2026, at the SoFA Design Institute in Rockwell Center, Makati.
Held in line with Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, “House of Local” is a special series by The Bazaar that puts the spotlight on Filipino-founded and locally established businesses across fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, home, and more.
Running from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days, the event gives shoppers the opportunity to discover new brands, unique products, and the people behind some of the country’s growing local businesses—all in one space.

Founded by Johan Salazar, Merchant Outreach and Finance/Logistics Head, and Bella Concepcion, Marketing, PR, and Partnerships Lead, The Bazaar creates curated retail experiences that connect local businesses with new audiences and give entrepreneurs opportunities to showcase their products beyond the digital space.
“The Bazaar was created to give small businesses a space to grow and connect,” said Concepcion. “With House of Local, we want to put the spotlight on Filipino brands and give more people the opportunity to discover what’s being created locally. There are so many exciting businesses out there—sometimes, you just need to know where to look.”

For Salazar, bringing businesses into high-traffic locations is also about making opportunities more accessible to smaller entrepreneurs.
“We want to give MSMEs the opportunity to be in prime locations and reach markets they otherwise might not have access to,” Salazar said.
“House of Local” continues this approach by bringing businesses at different stages together in the heart of Rockwell Center. For participating merchants, the event also provides an opportunity to gain exposure and connect directly with customers.

One participating brand shared its experience as a young business joining The Bazaar’s events.
“We’re just a one-month-old business, doing our best to improve our products and grow as we go. You and your team made a small business owner’s dream come true — and we truly appreciate all the good feedback you shared.”
Another participating brand highlighted the value of The Bazaar’s events in helping businesses connect with customers beyond online platforms.
“The Bazaar has always been a fun and exciting space to meet our customers in real life. It helps build customer-brand relationships and it’s cute how our customers would bring their friends and recommend our products”
For participating businesses, these in-person interactions offer opportunities not only to introduce products to new customers but also to strengthen relationships with existing ones.

Guests can look forward to a curated mix of exclusive products, event-only promotions, fashion and beauty finds, unique food concepts, giveaways, interactive activities, and more throughout the two-day event
