MANILA, Philippines — The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring rains in Palawan and parts of Visayas and Mindanao while the rest of Luzon will see cloudy skies on Tuesday, according to the state weather bureau.
In the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), weather specialist Veronica Torres said that no low pressure area or tropical cyclones are being monitored inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
“Patuloy ang epekto ng ITCZ sa Visayas, Mindanao, at Palawan. Itong ITCZ, nagpapaulan sa areas na nabanggit,” Torres said.
(The effects of ITCZ will continue to prevail over Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan. The ITCZ will bring rains over these areas.)
ITCZ, or the convergence of winds from the northern and southern hemispheres, will affect Visayas, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga.
Torres also said that partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of localized thunderstorms will still be experienced over the rest of Visayas and Mindanao. She added that these weather conditions will prevail over these areas from Wednesday until Thursday.
Meanwhile, Torres said that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of localized thunderstorms. She also noted that fair weather conditions may continue to prevail over these areas from Wednesday until Saturday.
No gale warning is raised in any seaboards of the country.

- Baguio: 17°C to 24°C
- Tagaytay: 23°C to 31°C
- Tuguegarao: 26°C to 35°C
- Legazpi: 25°C to 33°C
- Puerto Princesa: 25°C to 32°C
- Kalayaan Islands: 26°C to 33°C
- Iloilo: 26°C to 33°C
- Cebu: 33°C to 26°C
- Tacloban: 26°C to 33°C
- Cagayan de Oro: 25°C to 33°C
- Davao: 25°C to 33°C
- Zamboanga:: 33°C to 25°C
