17/18/19-09-2020, via Zoom // Successful holding of the first Youth Online Conference on #ASEANUniversality, co-organized by the #DiplomaticLeague, #RotaractOneASEAN and #PhilippineEmbassyWellington. Over 300 Youth Leaders, Rotaractors and Students from all 10 ASEAN Countries, NZ, Fiji and Guam participated via Zoom – with over 10,000 viewers reached via Facebook! Featuring distinguished speakers from Academe, Diplomacy (PH Mission to ASEAN – DPR Noel Mangaoang Novicio / ASEAN Secretariat), Rotary, Rotaract and the DL. A Resolution on Youth Mental Health Advocacy was passed. Also featured was the first-ever Mr. & Ms. #ASEANUniversality contest, which focused on presentation of advocacies. Congratulations  to the winning Philippine and Myanmar candidates – Ms Amina Shayne Halil & Mr Thaw Lin Oo. 🙂 – their advocacies were on, respectively – marine conservation and youth education. #ASEAN #ASEANIdentity #PHinNZ #ASEANCommitteeWellington #YAMBA #YouthAmbassador
