The Ministry of Health said 56 of those 60 cases were in Auckland and four were in Waikato.

Twenty-two of yesterday’s cases were yet to be linked to earlier cases, increasing the number of unlinked cases from the past 14 days to 166. There were 43 people in hospital, including five in intensive care.
