The Court of Appeals has extended its freeze order on the bank accounts and properties of Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Quiboloy until February 2025.

The Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) said in a statement sent to GMA News Online that the CA issued the resolution extending the freeze order on August 20.

The appellate court issued a 20-day freeze order last August 6 against the fugitive pastor’s 10 bank accounts, seven real properties, five motor vehicles, and one aircraft.

Quiboloy, the Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 said yesterday

PRO 11 spokesperson Police Major Catherine dela Rey said obstruction of justice and direct assault complaints were filed against the KOJC members.

“Some of them are in the Davao City Police Office custodial facility but were processing their bail,” she said.

Dela Rey said the 60 cops are now recovering from injuries. The police treated at least two KOJC members who were also hurt during the operation, she added.

Previously, some KOJC members filed a complaint against the police after allegedly sustaining injuries during the police operation in the religious group’s compound in Davao City.
