A 12-year-old boy has been charged with murder in Northland.

The victim, Ōkaihau local Michael John Biggins, 62, was found in a car crashed into a paddock and died at the scene.
Detective senior sergeant Mark Dalzell said the child is the second person charged.
A 15-year-old has also been charged with murder over Biggins’ death.
