Zhanjiang, China — The 12th Guangdong International Aquaculture Expo will return June 18–20, 2026, at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center, reaffirming the city’s standing as the “Capital of Chinese Seafood Cuisine.”

The three-day event, themed “Aquatic Industry, Better Life,” will bring together industry leaders, buyers, processors, and technology providers to showcase the latest developments in aquaculture and seafood processing, with a strong focus on aquatic product safety.

Organizers say the expo is designed to be a global platform for cooperation, exchange and investment in the aquaculture sector, strengthening ties between China’s aquaculture industry and partners worldwide. The show aims to accelerate industry development in Zhanjiang by fostering international collaboration and building an advanced processing base.

The exhibition spans a planned 30,000 square meters and includes dedicated zones for International Aquatic Products, Frozen Seafood, Aquatic Equipment, and Smart Aquaculture & Marine Ranching. A series of professional forums will run alongside the exhibition, including the Marine Ranching Development Forum, the Golden Pompano Industry Development Summit, and the Shrimp Industry Forum, addressing key trends, technology and sustainability challenges.

Exhibitors and delegates can expect product showcases, technology demonstrations, and opportunities for business matchmaking and investment discussions. Organizers highlight the event’s role in promoting innovation in breeding, cold chain logistics, processing, and intelligent aquaculture systems.
