Metro Manila, Philippines— Oil firms are expected to hike prices of petroleum products next week.
In its forecast issued Saturday, Unioil said diesel will cost ₱1.30 to ₱1.50 more per liter, while the price of gasoline will go up by ₱0.90 to ₱1.10 per liter.
Fuel companies usually announce the price movements every Monday for implementation the next day.
Data from the Department of Energy showed that price adjustments already resulted in a year-to-date per-liter increase of ₱12.80 for gasoline, ₱10.40 for diesel, and ₱4.99 for kerosene.
