Vice President Leni Robredo said Wednesday that she is in quarantine following exposure to a COVID-19 case.
“Our protocol in the office is to go on quarantine for seven days, kaya hanggang after New Year pa [My quarantine period will end after New Year],” Robredo added.
Robredo is fully vaccinated with the two-dose COVID-19 vaccine AstraZeneca and received her Moderna COVID-19 booster shot this month.
Robredo said this marks the second time she has been exposed to a COVID-19 case, with the first incident also involving another member of her close in security testing positive for COVID-19.
Prior to her second COVID-19 exposure, Robredo has been visiting areas devastated by Typhoon Odette to distribute aid and for assessment of other needed help. — BM, GMA News
