Eighty agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Bataan received Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) and electronic land titles (e-Titles) during the Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat program held Monday at the Bataan People’s Center.
The activity brought together national government agencies and the provincial government of Bataan to provide various assistance and services to residents.
The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Bataan, led by Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Neil Pedralvez, facilitated the distribution of the land titles.
Ten ARBs attended the program at the Bataan People’s Center to personally receive their land titles.
Senior Agrarian Reform Program Officer Edgar Manalang said the titles cover a total of 23.2750 hectares of agricultural land, including 21.8071 hectares in various parts of the province covered by Project SPLIT and 1.4679 hectares under the Landed Estates program in Barangay San Simon, Dinalupihan.
He said the distribution of the land titles gives the beneficiaries legal ownership of their agricultural lands and supports the government’s agrarian reform program.
